I'm extracting glucomoringin from plant. when i read in journal, most stated that it must be activated with enzyme before it can be use for any biactivities.The purpose is to hydrolyze the gmg to become isothiocyanate.so, if i need to activate it with enzyme in order for it to be working, do i need to re-do nmr again to confirm the hydrolyzed structure? thanks

Our collaborators checked the formation of the isothiocyanate.I anyway think that if you add the GMG and the enzyme together to the cells to test the activity (so you just use purification as a step and it is not the main purpose of your study) you don't have to check it every time (maybe you can collect a small amount of media at the end of the experiment and check it).
