I wanna know the impact factor Of journal "advances in bioinformatics" but i just wonder why cant i find it, the only thing that i found on net is its citation per year graph so is this equivalent to the measurement of impact factor ?
The reason that this journal does not have an impact factor is that it is not indexed in the Web of Science data base. You could calculate this journal impact factor yourself by dividing the number of citations it received, say, in 2018, by the number of published papers during 2016 and 2017.
At the Clarivate analytic home page you can find the details of any journal which is indexed there however this facility is paid and only subscription availed authority can access.
If your university has no authorized access to Clariavate Analytics, then a viable solution is to ask a friend, or mention the journal name on ResearchGate and fellow researchers will help find you the impact factor. I think, this could be one of the best ways we can help each other.
