Can someone give me more clarification about different between nanoparticle and nanocomposite.
Also I want to know the role for obtaining Graphene nanocomposite as space (spacer to prevent restacking), in another means can I use any materials as spacer to prevent the buckling (I need to know the mechanism for making graphene nanocomposite ), I need some paper about this issues
Nanocomposite word is more popular, but exactly it is nanostructured composite. That is a composite material made of two or more nanoparticles or nanostructured materials. nanoparticles are nanometer scale particles made of single type materials, e.g., metal/nonmetal or element. There are several methods reported about making nanostructured composited using graphene. Also, you may consider using carbon nano tubes (SW/MWNT) to prevent buckling.
Nano particles are typically particles in the nano scale (10^-9). The particles involve here are usually of one material. Nano composite consist of different nano particles (at least two different materials) mixed in the composite matrix. Therefore, a nano particles is a subset of a nano composite.
