Spectrophotometrically quantify purified hemozoin by measuring optical density either in a Beckman DU-640 cuvette with a 1 cm path-length with a molar extinction coefficient at 400 nm of 1 × 10^5 or in a Perkin Elmer HTS 7000 96 well plate reader in 200 μl with molar extinction coefficient of 5.7 × 10^4 with a 405 nm filter (Pisciotta et al., 2017).
@Kang, thank you for this, and the equation; the relationship between absorbance, molar concentration, sample volume and the extinction coefficient please.
