Can someone explain to me or provide me some material about a step by step procedure of simulating a butt-welded fusion of two HDPE pipes in ABAQUS?

I am trying to simulate a butt-welding for the fusion of two HDPE pipes. I have modeled the pipes in the ABAQUS. I have also created a heat transfer step in which the heat from the heating plate is represented with a temperature boundary condition of 2000C. The heat transfer analysis steps has resulted in the temperature contour. The result from the heat transfer analysis was used in the temp-disp coupled analysis as a predefined field. However, I cannot manage to get an end result with beads formed. I must have missed some steps. I have tried to look for the solution in the literature, but could not find a solution that suits to my specific problem. Can someone help me, please
