Recently, few cancer patients are getting benefitted from oncolytic virus therapy. But can it help in treating advanced metastatic cancers (stage IV cancers) ?
but, practically it so difficult because at the early stages of cancer the site is small and restricted and can be applied viral therapy while in metastasis cant determine the target site to treatment and so on.
No ,generally there are no scientific assumptions with oncolytic virus for the therapy and cure of stage IV cancer and is very important consider the thype and the istotype of cancer.
Maybe difficult, But depend on virus type and cancer type... Additionally not only virus, may be more effective with various immune checkpoint inhibitors.
