1. I would like to compare secondary oxidation product between liposome and fish oil during storage time.
Can I use TBARS to assess and to compare that?
Because I afraid that TBARS in step heat, fish oil will increase oxidation product!
2. I tried to find some acceptable TBARS value, but I fail. Can anyone advice me about acceptable TBARS value in oil or fish oil or liposome?

For fats and oils, TBARS test is widely used and acceptable to trace the level of oxidation by monitoring the secondary oxidation products. Therefore, you can confidently use it for fish oil and emulsion systems.

I totally agree with Rohit. Usually, during the acid extraction step, a chelator and an antioxidant are aded to the acid, so that the formation of artifact compounds from oxidation shouldn't be a major problem. Once the MDA and other carbonyl compounds are extracted, in the further reaction with TBA at high temperature, there is no risk for further oxidation, since the extract should be free of lipids. If you are using a distillation method, a similar precaution should be kept (antioxidants during the extraction)
The values of TBARS are dependent of matrix and laboratory, so it is difficult to establish a "reference value". It is possible to compare with results of similar samples to evaluate the feasibility of the data. Another approach is to apply the same procedure to a sample having a well known range of results to verify if your method is running well.
