Did you mean that, along with other independent variables (like- age, education, women empowerment index (low-medium-high), wealth index (poor, middle, rich) etc.), if I could perform logistic regression with any dependent variable, then I can use RII and SII in case of women empowerment index?

Actually, I had applied RII and SII in one of my published articles where the independent variable was Wealth-index and the dependent var.was double burden of malnutrition.

But, I can't understand, whether I can use these methods while assessing the effect of women empowerment index (low-medium-high) on any public health issues?

My confusion is that, I've read some of the RII and SII related papers, but, all of them put stress on socio-economic cases. But, I don't know whether I can use them on women empowerment index. So, if I can use RII and SII on other indices too, would you kindly refer me some articles or books?
