I have used DCC/DMAP catalyst for esterification of graphene oxide.

(COOH group of graphene oxide + OH group of silica)

However, I had a problem of removing DCU product from DCC.

And, I saw the one paper of using P2O5 (phosphorus pentoxide; dehydrating agent) for the reaction of amidation of graphene oxide with other nanomaterial.

(COOH + NH2)

So, my question is, can I apply P2O5 for steglich esterification (COOH +OH) of graphene oxide?

I think, there are not many papers using p2o5 for this kind of reaction

.. Researchers commonly use DCC/DMAP for esterification..

I need your advice.. Thanks !
