Hi great Researchers,
We are planning for animal trial where we will implant a PDMS based medical device for 2-3 weeks. I was wondering, can I use normal lab Oven ( https://www.carbolite-gero.com/products/chamber-furnaces/laboratory-furnaces/cwf-standard-chamber-furnaces/function-features/) for dry heat sterilization. As most of the literature reports that they use hot air based oven for dry heat sterilization. Can some one guide me about this.

Sterilization should be in the oven with hot air
If the oven has a fan, you can use it for sterilization

Thanks for the response. Actually our oven do not have fan that's why I need suggestion if the sterilisation is same in coil heated oven and hot air oven.
If you have an oven with forced air blower (forced convection heating) because blown hot air is used to eliminate or deactivate all forms of life inside the chamber of an industrial oven. but oven depends on natural convection heating is not recommended.
