If so, how long after it expired? It has been stored in -20 degrees and will expire in one month. I have ordered more than I could use for the time being. Thanks.
I believe these reagents are fairly stable if you store and handle them properly, avoiding multiple rounds of freeze-and-thaw. If so, they should still work several month or even a year beyond the expiration date.
Theoretically, yes it can be used. Usually, these reagents are stable for more than six month beyond the expiry date (if it stored, freeze thaw properly). I usually suggest two options: For diagnostic purpose never use expired reagents. For research purpose you can use for qualitative data not for quantitative data.
