My background is primarily qualitative so I'm struggling to understand the best way to approach analysing my research. I'm conducting a survey with multiple IVs that will be split into four blocks, but also have multiple DVs (use of various related services) and plan to use Hierarchical Multiple Regression. The first analysis will just be use/non-use of any of the services so HMR would be fine. But how do I compare use of different services? Would I have to run individual HMR analysis for each DV or is there a better way to do this?
Multivariate regression and path analysis would allow you to examine multiple DVs at the same time (in a single statistical model).
It sounds like you could have some binary DVs (use versus nonuse) which would require logistic regression.
Entering blocks of variables is straightforward in SPSS, so take another look at the Enter portion of the command.
I am not familiar enough with the commands you mention to give you specific advice.
