So I am doing a solid phase extraction for the first time using hexane and Methyl tert butyl ether. While I can mix, vortex and separate in glass tubes, I do not have the glass centrifuge facility currently.
Can I use falcon tube for the centrifugation duration or the organic solvents will cause a problem for the SPE?

Falcon tubes are made of polypropylene, the same as most pre-packed flash columns. The columns are often run with hexane and ethyl acetate and swell after a few purifications using these solvents. This means their strength is reduced. I wouldn't use these solvents with polypropylene is a high-stress situation such as a centrifuge.
