I want to construct a electrode based on CVD monolayer graphene. Then, connect some electroactive molecules with the electrode to detect some biomolecules. But the result is not good.
From theory graphene is a “high potential” candidate for sensors – especially when the surface is modified with docking molecules. During practical research graphene is sometimes painful. Frist problem is to obtain a good quality from a Chemical Vapour Deposition processes. Did you try the growth yourself or did you buy the graphene somewhere else. How was the transferring done and how was the graphene modified to act as sensor?
