I constructed a conducting glass using CVD graphene. I want to apply this conducting glass in electrochemical sensing, but there were not two obvious peaks on cyclic voltammogram of K3Fe(CN)3. Why? Could it be said that the conducting glass is not fit for electrochemical sensing?
Try to run a blank using jut the conducting glass as the working electrode to see if the conducting glass is intact.
What is the potential window, scan rate, reference electrode.. shape of CV curve depends on many operational parameters.
Which kind of conducting glass did you use? Because if it's ITO and you don't see the signal of Fe(CN6)3- means that the electrode has not well cleaned prior to use.
Because of the graphene being so thin, the most probable effect is a "bad contact" from the wires to the graphene. How did you make the contact?
Other possibility is that ferrocyanide adheres to graphene and does not respond in your potential window. be careful on choosinig your reference electrode also and on setting the "gain"
