Can I use BrdU staining with FITC-dextran assay?

Hi, I am defining my protocol of work on mice intestines. I want to use BrdU staining for the proliferation rate of the intestinal epithelium and FITC-dextran assay for the measurement of permeability. I was wondering if it's possible to do both in one mouse. Is it feasible?
