I would like to calculate the monthly average of the representative solar spectrum for each month based on minute spectral irradiance measurements. Can I consider this hypothesis? Has anyone made this assumption?
From my point of view, it can be considered, but the end result will be inaccurate and approximate because it will depend on many variables as Professor Abdelhalim Zekry mentioned it above,

The air mass zero spectrum is invariant and fixed with time. The measured spectrum on the earth surface vary because the it depends on the air mass and the weather conditions. I think one has to verify that the monthly average spectrum may not reflect the daily variation of the spectrum. Some deviations are also required to determine such that one has sufficient statistical data to represent the monthly variation of the spectrum.
