Hello all!

I would like to integrate a pTet-ON plasmid in the genome of a stable cell line, which already contains a TRE (Tet Response Element). I was thus wondering whether I could use a 2nd generation pTet-ON (also called "advanced" pTet-ON) for my transfections, considering the fact that the TRE that my cell line contains is a 1st generation one. Are these two compatible, or should I use a 1st generation pTet-ON as well?
