Hello everyone,

I am planning to do a Golgi-Cox staining for the first time, and one of the last steps is to use Xylene to clear the tissue. We have recently ordered the Sub-X Xulene substitute from Leica (less toxic than Xylene), and I was wandering if I could use it for this final step of the protocol.

I was trying to find in the litterature if someone ever tried it before, but I could not find any information. Could you please let me know if anyone of you ever tried it? Thank you very much in advance.

Cheers!

Ioannis Manolaras.
