Hello,
I need to compare two different states of performance for IoT devices.
State 1: Under Attack
State 2: No any kind of attack.
I can easily use honeypots to simulate the incoming traffic and system environment of IoT device. Yet, what I need is to monitor the performance and the outgoing activity of IoT devices, something that I am not sure that can be achieved with honeypots.
So I need to know the following:
1. Is there any honeypot mechanism that among others can mimic or emulate the activity of a IoT device? For example a camera, a router, or anything else.
2. In case that the first is false, is there any kind of simulator that can mimic the activity of an IoT device that I can put under testing?
3. If 2 is true is there any kind of integration with honeypots?
