Can I purify guanosine monophosphate using DEAE-Sephadex A-50 resin (TEAB form)?

For purification of smaller molecules such as guanosine monophosphate, it is recommended to use DEAE-Sephadex A-25 but since I don't have that in hand, can I use DEAE-Sephadex A-50 instead? What are the challenges that may arise? Kindly help if you can.

For your purpose, the key difference is that the binding capacity of A-50 is lower than that of A-25 for the same volume of swollen resin.
