Can I plot a heat release rate curve for a diesel engine?

Only engine specification and amount of fuel added per cycle are known.

Dear Ganesh. In order to plot the heat release rate with respect to time/crank angle, I think that it is not feasible theoretically from the idealized Diesel cycle with 2 adiabatic transformations (no heat release). The plot should be based on experimental data obtained from high speed temperature/pressure sensors.
