Hello all,
struggling with my data set statistics and wondering on some advice.
data set consists of one dependent variable with two independent variables.
i Checked for assumption test and gained and the DAta is equal, however, all but one set of data passes normality. my first question - is it vital a two way anova passes normality?
following this, I applied a kruskal Wallis, which I’m not even sure is right since the data is not On a scale which I’ve read about it needing to be? However, everyone I’ve googled has said for non parametric two way anova, kruskal is your best bet. So i have had to do two separate kruskal tests.. which doesn’t tell me if they interact or not. Is there any way to get past this?
after this I needed to consider a post-hoc, since i rejected the null hypothesis... which leads me to my last question , is the Dunn post hoc test most appropriate? And if so can you do that on minitab? If not I have downloaded Spss but really not familiar.
new to statistics and research, so any help would be great. Ideally I’d like to keep the two way anova but I know that if it doesn’t pass a normality it isn’t right.
thank you
