My paper "Communication as commitment sharing" has two research items: one for the the type script and one for the published version. Is it possible to merge these?
It is not possible to merge the preprint and the final versions, because the type "preprint" cannot be changed. You can link the two pages (preprint and publication versions), see "How do I link my preprint to the publication page for the final version?" in https://help.researchgate.net/hc/en-us/articles/14293104044177-Preprints. See, e.g., https://www.researchgate.net/publication/331546436 how this looks like. Or you may delete the preprint page, but this means that all stats for the preprint and possible comments will also be deleted.
