Yes, but I would not recommend it for long term storage.
We use cell freezing containers (https://www.abmgood.com/lab-equipment/cell-freezing-container.html) and freeze the cells in -80 for 24 hours then transfer to -130 freezer for storage.
I forgot once my tumor cells for about 2 months in the -80 and had plated them again, without having them ever in liquid N2, with same result as usual. But I do not know if and how sensitive fibroblasts are
