To run and test an SCM, I would like to have data for the profiles of temperature and specific humidity as well as the large scale winds and the advective tendencies of temperatures and humidity. I also need the surface pressure. To test the model , I would also like to have measurement of the precipitations, as well as the integrated water vapour, liquid water path and ice water path.
For the moment I'm using data from dedicated ARM measurement campaigns (SGP site), which are very interesting but cover only quite short periods of time (of a few weeks each). Does anyone know other dataset suitable for forcing and testing an SCM (eventually over a longer period of time) ?
Either I could also use re-analysis (not sure if they provide tendencies, and the temporal resolution is usually quite low) or model outputs.

Continuously meteorological measurements of the lower 300 m atmosphere have been performed at a radio tower for more than 20 years. First measurements are dated back to 1967 at a site at the periphery of Hamburg, Germany. What I am looking for includes time series of profiles from the ground to high altitude (ideally at least to the tropopause) of meteorological data as well as vertical tendencies and eventually radiation measurement. I would also like to have these data at a temporal resolution of 3h or better.
For the moment I'm using the ARM SGP data (cf. for instance http://www.arm.gov/campaigns/sgp1995sumscm ) dedicated to SCMs, but I would be glad to have other data source for my future work (other locations, longer time series)
