Can I do coomassie stained after the gel was blotting?

Since, I am new in the western blotting so I have question;

can I stain my gel with coomassie after I transferred into PVDF Membrane?

from my view logically it will work but the bands in the gel image after coomassie staining will be faded because it has been transferred into membrane, or?

Since the goal of the transfer is to bind all your proteins you've saparated with gel to the membrane, the coomassie staining shoud give you no visible bands, if your tansfer is successful. So, if you don't see any bands, they are completely on your membrane.
