I have built a vacuum oven with Autonics TZN4L-14S PID controller and SSR (SRH1 30A) as a transmitter but due to its perfect insulation, if there is a slight overshoot, its temperature won't drop. I want to completely remove the overshoot of this system but I don't know how. Is there any problem with the SSR (I mean should I use the thyristor?) or I should just change the PID parameters?
You need to adjust the parameters of the PID controller. Check by slightly reducing the Kp parameter and increasing Kd parameter.

The overshoot comes from Kp gain but for sure we need it to fasten the process. Try to reduce this gain until the response is sufficient for the oven process. If the overshoot is still there, you can try to adjust Kd and/or Ki gain.

In the PID controller, each parameter can affect on the performance of the system positively or negatively. increasing Kp can cause overshoot and may due to sustained oscillation hence we must change firstly in Kp by reducing its value. Increasing Ki can cause overshoot hence try to reducing in Ki. Also, increasing Kd reduces the overshoot but may make your system sensitive to noise. hence you need to tuning the parameters of PID to guarantee a good performance using Ziegler and Nichols method or using MATLAB for example 2014 can give you good choosing for these parameters.
If you want to do right, first build a model of the furnace as a control object and then the mood regulator model
Mr. Amir can you upload the step response of thr plant and the magnitude of the step.
You can adjust the parameters reducing the proportional parameter. Also you can replace the PID controller for PI controller and adjust the parameters for your needs.
