I'm comparing cells from 3 genotypes and want to compare the percentage of positively stained cells. However, I've realised that just looking at the percentages alone do not take into account if more or less events were recorded. For an instance if there was 5% positivity in one genotype and 10% positivity in the 2nd genotype but the number of events recorded were 2000 and 1000 respectively, then only 100 cells are positive for the first genotype and 100 cells are positive for the 2nd genotype but this is not what the percentages reflect.
