Hi, I work with blood processing for research and we're intending to obtain whole blood, plasma and PBMC concentrate from EDTA tubes.

Because we obtain various tubes from just one patient, we're trying to minimize the number of tubes, so instead of 2 tubes, one for whole blood and one for plasma and PBMCC we were planning on using one, taking the whole blood fraction frmo the tube and then put the cap on again and centrifuge. Is this possible? Are there and is there a way to avoid deleterious effects or biases?

Thanks in advance
