Dear all,

I have found some proteins sequences in my custom protein database using blastp. Further I built the hmm model using hmmbuild using the alignment of the sequences from my blastp output and run hmmsearch on the same database. And --- there is no match. What am I doing wrong? The hmm model is build on the sequences that were extracted from that very database. so, i should be able to pull at least these sequences.
