Can GSSG-functionalized AuNP detect hormones ?

I functionalized AuNP surface with GSSG with Lomant's reagent for HCG detection, but there are no any visible changes.

Is there no possibility of HCG detection using GSSG-functionalized AuNP ?

First, you need to find out if your sensing moiety is attached to AuNP. If there are no visible changes most likely your AuNP are not functionalized. They usually shift the color which can be assessed with UV-Vis methods.
