I want to ensure decarburisation in steel materials that are carburised and quenched during metal cutting such as hobbing.
If it is related to Fick's law is this possible with temperatures around 800 Celsius but in a relatively short cutting time or are there possible changes in the microstructure?
I would be very grateful if anyone could point out papers on this issue.
