I know that the CFD is based on Novier-Stocks equations which consist of a time-dependent continuity equation for conservation of mass, three time-dependent conservation of momentum equations and a time-dependent conservation of energy equation. But in petroleum engineering, we use a corresponding equation (Darcy) to represent fluid flow in a porous medium. I was wondering can we consider the Darcy law as a CFD problem?
