I did biofilm formation for staphylococcus.pseudintermedius using microtiter plate method , i observed the biofilm formed on the ring of well of plate and slightly on the base , did this correct or no? as we no S.pseudintermedius like s.aureus should formed biofilm on the base of wells right after staining by 0.1% crystal violet right, any one agree with you? and what is your explanation for this results?
Thanks so much Yannick yes i mean That staphylococcus pseudintermedius formed biofilm at the air-liquid interface rather than the surface-liquid interface. did you do biofilm on this strain before, if you did can you please send to me an picture for microtiter plate you did for this strain?
this is common.. you can try keeping plates in shaker incubator
