I still didn't do its genome analysis. i just found this fungus very useful in my project. this fungus grow at very low pH and degrade almost all kind of inhibitors.i just want to get an idea what kind of fungus is this!!!!.
Hello Rachid Lahlali , Hero Mohammad Ismael and Oadi Matny.thanks for your suggestion.
I am now in the process of its single spore isolation and making slides.
the spores.and spores are oval in shape.
i grow that fungus on water agar gell to count its spores and isolate single spore so they germinate very fast with in 6 hr. and in 18 hours here you see what they did.......they fully grown and bear another spores. i am very eager to know this specie.
Now i will repeat this again to get single spore. because it is going very difficult for me to take a spore.than i will do its genome 18 rDNA etc analysis.
he grown in 12 hr in SM medium at 2.2 pH. pH adjusted with 5% H2SO4. and it is very difficult for any other fungus to grow on this pH. and when he grow more the pH becomes more acidic. like; 1
also 3 and 5 pH becomes 1 and best temperature for his growth is 37 0C
colony typical for Scopulariopsis brevicaulis or more so for Paecilomyces varioti, of course needs to be checked with conidiophores and conidia, microscopy is decisive here!
have a great myco-day! and do a lot of microscopy :-)
