Can anyone tell me the best BRET sensor for ultra-sensitive in vivo imaging to track stem cells?

I will be initiating a project to use BRET sensors to track the growth and fate of injected stem cells using in vivo mouse models. I am leaning towards use of firefly lcuciferase based BRET sensors because the imaging substrate( D-Luciferin is cheap) but can anyone tell me if it is better to use Renilla luciferae or Nanoluc based BRET sensors for imaging small numbers of surviving cells
