When I perform current solution of my model it shows following message
" The current solution may have been produced using different model or boundary condition data than is currently stored. POST1 result may be erroneous unless you a new solution using the stored data."
So now my question is, how can I clear the previous model stored data? Is there any option to resolve that problem? Actually when I start the model, I used previous model than I rearrange and create some new section and build the model. I couldn't found any previous model data. How can I solve the problem? Is there anybody can help me to solve this problem?

hope u had used different .rst file and db's together to access the results.
Try reopen the .rst file (which the db file you had used for solving the problem)

more information would be helpful. The message pops up e.g. if you call /PREP7 after /SOLU but before /POST1. Maybe you typed /PREP7 and then UPGEOM command before /POST1? Hope this helps...
Use the lgw script file to create new model by editing and save the file with different name at different folder location. The error general occur when you make changes in your model with deleting the rst file and do the post processing, then it require to run the solution one more time. Try to generate different model with different file name and location. Do not edit the solved db files. Do the edit work by saving the lgw file and generating a new model at different location.

Hello..I don't know if this reply is too late but i hope it helps..
In my analysis, after first iteration, i had to delete certain nodes and elements and i had to do certain replacing of the elements.And when program was run for the second iteration, the same error as as mentioned by Mr.Choudhury occurred.
All i had to do was re-number the nodes and elements. I think some times the old deleted elements and node number still exists in the database. But they will give a negative pivot while solving. That's why such an error occurs.
Renumbering of nodes and elements can be done by using command
NUMCMP,Elem
NUMCMP,Node

I have a sort of related question which I am still trying to figure out.
I have a model with same geometry but different load schemes for each. A) I have structural loads (some pressures around). B) I do not have structural loads, but contact surface offsets. I can calculate them separately, but I am trying to use the same generating code for both and use 2 time steps.
When I finish calculating A) (it takes 34 iterations), then I remove the loads, I set a new time-step (TIME,2), I modify the real constant of the contact element to account for the offset (with RMODIF),, and solve for step B). Then B) calculates presumably wrong results, and I get the error "Cumulative iteration 34 may have been solved using different model or boundary condition data than currently stored. POST1 results may be erroneous unless you RESUME from a jobname.db file for this substep".
Tried this in Ansys 16.2
Tried it also in 18.2 with almost similar outcome, but many fewer iterations (10).
Could anyone help with this?

The lgw file is the script file used in ANSYS apdl. Kindly read the question once again, the error sought was in ANSYS apdl. To see the current script file while working in ANSYS apdl, you can go to session editor. And to save the script file go to file then select write DB log file. Then, your script file will be save as lgw extension. Once, you have script file, you can edit it.
