Most probably something is wrong in your model or you cannot interpret your results the right way. In such simple analysis you cannot have differences of 50%. Please give us more details about your model.
If I had such a problem with Abaqus results, I would start with a very simple model (one frame or truss member under tension, fixed in one end, pulled at the other). The analytical solution for this problem is very easy to achieve. I would then compare the abaqus results with the analytical results in order to understand how abaqus calculates strains and how strains are reported by the program. In other words, the strategy is to simplify your problem so that it would be easier to understand what is going on and what the problem may be.
