Can anyone please suggest the optimized volume or weight fraction and surfactants and/or dispersants to have stable SWCNT based nanofluids with DI water as base fluid?
I wish someone could provide me with the procedure to prepare the same.

It is dependent in what form you have CNT. We prepared CNT for composite materials like Ag(CU)/0,1%;0,5%,1%, to 3%V max CNT. Our procedure 100ml DI + Triton X100 (surfactant). You have to make critical micellar concentration TritonX100 in DI water. If I good remember it is 20ml of Triton in DI water. To this solution we added 0,03g CNT.
Next process- sonication ( Fig1. in attach) 4 min in sequence 1sec. impuls/ 1 sec. break. Total energy process 147kJ.
Next - spin proces: 5000rpm, time 10-15 min.Fig.1
After centrifuging the solution very gently pour into a clean container.
98% of the CNT was isolated in such a solution -Fig2.

We have purchased the SWCNT from TUBALL-OCSiAl.

Do they have to be prepared with Triton X 100 too?
as you see from TEM CNT are highly intertangled in dry state (as usual).
Instead of ultrasonication you may have better results with high pressure homogenization. It maybe helpful to exfoliate first in a more concentrated dispersion in DMF than in a second cycle in aqueous nonionic surfactant solution with high pressure homogenization.
