Can you please elaborate a bit more on what it is you're looking for in these fields? Any particular topics? You might find Sonja Lyubomirsky's research on happiness interesting.
Seligman is king in this area but also look at Karen Reivich Carol Dweck . There's a bok called learning to ride elephants by Morris , all about applying positive psychology in schools. Google Geelong Grammar School, they are a positive education school applying PS principles s is Wellington College. Hope that helps
There are a few emerging research journals in coaching, and most of the field today is informed by positive psychology. One such research journal is Coaching: An International Journal of Theory Research and Practice. Much of the work in self-determination theory (Deci and Ryan), Motivational Interviewing (Rollnick & Miller; Pantalon) ,Transtheoretical model of stages of change (Prochaska & DiClemente), solution focused therapy are both rooted in positive psychology and have informed the field of coaching. You may also find good resources at the Institute of Coaching at Harvard Medical School. The consulting and counseling journals are also good sources for positive psychology and coaching. Much of tghe literature on coaching, is not, however, research based. Many therapy models are being adapted and reframed as positive coaching, for example Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. We intuitively know that these models work in practice but the question is do they work in theory? What are the limits of generalizability? How is positive psychology informing therapy and then adapted for coaching situations.
Secondary sources are often a good source of leads, as well. Here are some of the books that I've found helpful that have a strong research basis and are directly related to coaching.
