Thank you for your answers Dr. Rahman. I have tried abcam 80508 antibody. This antibody works but I have numerous bands. It is difficult to analyze them. I may try the 31092 antibody.

Thank you for your information Dr.Iborra. I have also used the same site to select the suitable antibody. This site showed that the antibody which I used has been cited for 14 times. but still I am not getting good results.. are too much of background. .I guess I have to play around with other conditions to get good results. Regardless, thank you very much :)

Abcam 80508 antibody that I have tried in brain sections for immunostaining. It appears to work good. But still, standardization is necessary. In, western blot, i see so many bands.. so not sure which one is correct. There was one band at 56 kDa which could be the right one. But If I choose that as a result, it will be biased.

I recommend a free antibody database at labome.com. For antibodies to NOX2 (CYBB) you can check the following link: https://www.labome.com/review/gene/human/CYBB-antibody.html. Santa Cruz Biotechnology has CYBB antibody (Santa Cruz, sc-130543) was used in western blot on mouse samples (fig 1) and in immunohistochemistry on mouse samples at 1:100 (fig 1) (Gu et al, Int J Mol Med. 2016). Also, Santa Cruz Biotechnology offers another CYBB antibody (Santa Cruz, sc74514) was used in western blot on mouse samples at 1:200 (fig 5) (Zhao et al., Sci Rep. 2016). Epitomics has CYBB antibody (Epitomics, 5653-1) suitable for WB. In addition, EMD Millipore provides CYBB antibody (Millipore, 07-024) used in immunohistochemistry - paraffin section on mouse samples at 1:50 and in western blot on mouse samples at 1:500 (Roehlecke et al, PLoS One. 2013).
