I am looking for information about selection and training school administrators in not only China, but Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Finland, Estonia, Liechtenstein, Canada, Poland, Netherland, Switzerland and Vietnam. I want to compare selection and training of school administrators of these countries and propose a model for Turkey. Thanks in advance for your interest.

There's been quite a bit of research done by Allan Walker and Paula Kwan, based at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, on principal selection in Hong Kong. Jill Blackmore has also done work on this issue in Australia.
I'm currently embarking on a study of principal selection in International Schools, working with Andrew Wigford, of Teachers International Consultancy. This is part of a larger research study into staff recruitment and selection within International Schools.

I think you should try contact the High School Affiliated to Ren Min University in Beijing. The School is the center for training of school principals in China. I believe that they have articles and ppts for the school management in particular to equp newly appointed principals to work in their jobs.
Dr Wei Zhang from the University of Leicester School of Education has recently been studying professional development courses for school principals in China: [email protected].
