Thanks for the information and the book, I am aware of the company supplied real time master mixes, I was wondering if somehow we can efficient make our own mastermixes for qPCR by supplementing the intercalating compounds, i think there are such protocols which are more cost effective and easily doable with minimum lab resources..Just a thought..
I had tried making in-house SYBR mix with limited success. Reproducibility was not very accurate. Apparently, the signal reading in machine needs 'normalization' to a different flourophore (one that does not change with DNA amount), so it is better to buy from a vendor who usually have the pre-mix of dyes.
Hi, i think that it's not a good idea, because as said before any produced biological reagent or product for commercilization must be validated with a serial experiments something, i guess, wasn't possible in the lab especially with minimun or limited resources, anyway hard work for trying, and if one day that you did it, i hope that you share it and don't patented it, (:, Regards,
