Can anyone suggest an effective and simple method for pyrolysis oil refining?

I did the thermal pyrolysis of waste tires and got pyrolysis oil (black viscous oily mixture of hydrocarbons and impurities with the awful smell). I would like to avoid the method with strong acids and lime.

You must use an appropriate temperature, with heat exchangers. for the separation of heavy products, the barium carbonate.
