Conducting a meta-analysis of proportions is cumbersome and confusing in R if one doesn't have a knowledge of commands in R. Is there a step-by-step guide or an easier alternative for conducting meta-analysis of proportions?

There are for comparative studies. I need for single arm observational studies.
