This is not a difficult problem, and you are far better off constructing your own solution (in Excel  or similar if you like), than relying on someone else's solution that you may misunderstand. Alternatively, if you really do not have the skill, you should talk to a colleague who does, and who can inform your particular understanding of the limitations of the approach for your purposes.

 I understood. But  i have more than 518400 continues data fields (approx, for 10 years).. So it is difficult to do it with excel, i.e. analyzing of different rainfall segments. If there is a software specially designs for such analysis, it will be worth for me.
