I am interested in simulating/coding a typical smart home with HVAC, critical appliances, Electric vehicle and a rooftop solar PV system with battery connected to grid via Hybrid inverter all these are interconnected via a Energy managment system. I want to implement a demand response algorithm and test it on considered smart home with detail appliance modeling, control logic implementation for economical and peak demand benefits comparision.

thank you Mr. Markus for your prompt reply and useful information. i will go through those papers and let you know my views and clarifications required (if any). Also i am working in direction of collaborative community energy management using game theory (where most of the literature used multiple platforms JADE + MATLAB etc., but not exactly for realistic scenarios.)
