Its very interesting. Could you please elaborate on anti-HPV activity of these compounds?? do they affect viral entry into the cells?? or they kill only HPV positive cells??

Are you studying the antiviral activity of your drugs in tissue culture?

The compounds I am studying are piperazin derivatives and the mechanistic assays performed up to now indicate they are blocking slightly the entry of the virus and to a greater extent adenovirus replication.

All my in vitro assays with adenovirus have been done in culture cells. I have no idea how these compounds affect HPV life cycle, that's what I want to figure out if I get to know an appropriate screening method.

Screening is relatively easy with sampling from cervix. One can predict from a population of patients what percent will have HPV.

Testing in vivo first would be ideal.
