I'm working with 10 natural point cameras but still have marker occlusion problems when using this model. Is there some preferred set-up or configuration?
10 cameras should provide you enough flexibility in the configuration to see all markers at all time during gait. I have experience with a 6-camera configuration and no occlusions problem with the IOR foor protocol. Which MOCAP system are you using?
In a typical 6-camera configuration, 2 cameras are in the front of the walkway, 2 cameras are in the back and 2 cameras are one on the left and one on the right side roughly half-way between the front and the rear cameras. All cameras should point to the same acquisition volume (normally above the force plate, if any). Having 10 cameras should allow you to spread your cameras evenly around the acquisition volume.
Thanks for your response. Definitely, the camera ressolution is my problem. I'm using Natural Point Cameras (V3 model) and it only provides 0,3Mp. I'll try to upgrade cameras to get good captures.
